Using the pen tool on Gravit, we were instructed to trace 9 basic shapes, then to trace a penny, and finally to cut out one complex shape and paste it onto another background picture. I also did the optional monster tracing exercise. The pen tool is a tool that can create any shape, and is handy in tracing or creating images from scratch. The final image I cut out is a cartoon boy falling off a cliff while another man laughs at him. A challenge that I immediately had to face was that Gravit only has a certain amount of pixels, so getting very precise is difficult. Especially on a cartoon, many of the lines on the edge of both characters had to be cut out, or else the background of the original character's image would be present in the current picture.

Hi, I couldn't resist myself, I have been on Gravit all day! Oops. The 2nd image is what I traced the eyes off of.
Merry Christmas, everyone! For the holidays, I decided to make a vector design on Gravit for fun. Here it is!
Using Gravit, I made this scene. It shows a computer and fruit bowl on a desk, a space poster, and 3 shelves of books. I chose the yellow walls because yellow is my favorite color. I love to read, so I put many books on the left side of the page. For the space poster, I always draw space scenes, even if I personally do not want to go to space. I also put a fruit bowl on the desk because I always need to have fruit at my house because I eat it every day.
With Gravit, I created a line, created a square, rotated a square, enlarged a square, transformed a square, created a square using paths, converted a square to a path, modified a square's anchor points, created a circle, converted a circle to a path, and modified a circle.
Using the video tutorial that Mrs. Kosmack provided us, I learned how to create different sized pages and add text onto them using the website Gravit.
